CM Palaniswami visits D Pandian in hospital

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday visited D Pandian, senior leader and national committee member of the CPI, at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital in Chennai. CM Palaniswami, accompanied by Deputy CM O Panneerselvam and state ministers including Health Minister C Vijayabaskar, met the CPI leader and enquired about his health.

D Pandian was admitted to the hospital with breathlessness and underwent dialysis, a senior doctor reportedly said, adding that his condition is stable now. Earlier the senior leader was admitted to ICU and was later shifted to the special ward.

Earlier, DMK working president MK Stalin along with party senior leader K Ponmudi visited D Pandian in the hospital and enquired about his health. CPI national secretary D Raja also visited the senior leader and enquired about his health.
