Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Saturday left for Chennai to take part in the NITI Aayog's governing council meeting in Delhi on Sunday, say reports. The meeting is chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chief Ministers of the states will attend the meeting where they’ll put forth the demands for their states.
Reports suggest that CM Palaniswami will visit the Podhigai Illam, Tamil Nadu government’s guest house in Delhi, after attending the meeting. He will return to Chennai on Sunday evening.
The meeting, which was planned to take place on Saturday (June 16) was rescheduled to Sunday (June 17) as the date clashed with Eid-ul-Fitr.
