Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami addressed the students of Pachaiyappa's College during their 175th-year celebration on Friday. The CM reportedly asked the students to be wary of fake and malicious news. He said, "Fake and malicious news may come to you in the form of a decoration," and asked students to stay wary.
He also advised the students to not waste their time by using websites and WhatsApp. The CM's advice seemed like a veiled attack on Makkal Needhi Maiam President Kamal Haasan who recently launched his party app, Maiam Whistle.
