Three persons including two boys surrendered before the Nungambakkam Assistant Commissioner’s office after killing a 15-year-old boy and burying his body in a cemetery. The trio attacked the boy, Rajesh, with cricket bat and killed him. They also buried his body in a cemetery in Nungambakkam.

Perumal, father of Rajesh, from Choolaimedu had filed a complaint with the local police on January 21 after his son went missing. The incident has come to light six months after the killing. Reports say that the body will be exhumed in the presence of Tahsildar.

Bharath Kumar from Namachivayapuram was among the three who surrendered before the police. They confessed to killing the boy with a cricket bat when he went to play cricket in the cemetery after he complained to police about them. Police have launched a hunt for another boy who was involved in the murder.
