Police reportedly arrested five people, including three transsexuals on Thursday, for allegedly attacking and robbing a software engineer near Vandalur railway station on June 9.
One Santhosh Kumar, a 30-year-old software engineer, was returning home from the office when the gang attacked him with a knife. They robbed his six sovereigns of gold jewellery, a watch, a cellphone and some cash and escaped.
