Chennai: Man kills mother for drinking his alcohol

According to reports on Times of India, a 24-year-old man Neelakandan from TP Chatram murdered his mother Kalavathi for drinking his share of alcohol. The man reportedly had his alcohol hidden in his home which his mother found and allegedly drank.
 

Frustrated by this, the man thrashed his mother with pipe and pushed her from a staircase. Neighbors, upon hearing Kalavathi’s cries took her to Kilpauk medical college, where the woman succumbed to her injuries. The man, who also had injuries was arrested on charges of murder.
