Journalists burn photos of S Ve Shekher in front of his residence

After the actor turned politician S Ve Shekher shared a derogatory post about women journalists on Facebook, an outrage has been created among journalists in Chennai. Journalists gathered in front of his residence and in front of BJP office to protest against him by burning his photo.

S Ve Shekher however, deleted the post and apologised saying that he ‘mistakenly shared his friend’s post without reading it properly’. The incident followed after the TN Governor’s cheek-patting incident, which was again given a massive attention.

The fisheries department Minister said that a case can be filed against S Ve Shekher if anyone files a complaint.
