Chennai girl dies after ceiling of house collapses on her

According to reports, a 11-year-old girl Praveena died on Saturday after the ceiling of her house collapsed on the outskirts of the city. The girl was reportedly with her mother Abitha and brother Praveen when the incident happened.

Praveena was crushed under the ceiling and died on the spot, while her brother and mother suffered injuries and are admitted to Chengalpattu government hospital.

According to reports, the house is 40-years-old and left unattended for a long time. Palur police have registered a case and are investigating.
