A Selfie On 'Corona Monitoring App' Could Be of BIG Help To Society; Chennai Corporation Shares Details!
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAmid the growing coronavirus cases in the country, the Greater Chennai Corporation launched a ‘Corona Monitoring app’ which will help in monitoring those who are home quarantined due to COVID-19. The app can be easily downloaded from the city Corporation’s website.
Highlighting about the app- it gives the users three options after download -- Quarantine capture, General fever symptoms and Report crowded spots.
Further explaining about this app, Corporation Commissioner G. Prakash said if any person has symptoms like fever, dry cough and breathlessness, he or she will just have to take a selfie from their homes and send it.
“It will reach our server and instantly we will know the location. Our medical team can then examine whether the symptoms are normal or require a higher level of medical attention,” he stated.
