Chennai cop commits suicide inside toilet

A young police of Neelankarai was found hanging by his family members inside the toilet on Sunday night. Reportedly, Balamurugan belongs to Injambakkam and has been serving as a police since 2013. Balamurugan was on leave for the past four days and only returned to work on Sunday.

After coming back from work, Balakumar reportedly went inside the restroom. When he did not show up for a long time, his relatives broke down the toilet door to find him dead.

His family members alleged that workload and pressure from higher officials drove him to such a decision. They also confirmed that Balakumar had no life-threatening problems. The Neelankari police are currently investigating Balamurugan's death.
