CB-CID plans to seek extension of Nirmala Devi’s custody

CB-CID police will reportedly produce professor Nirmala Devi in court as her custody comes to an end. Meanwhile, the police have reportedly planned to file a petition seeking to extend the custody of the professor. During the investigation, she gave out information on another professor named Murugan and a former PhD student, namely Karuppasamy. While Murugan was arrested, police are on the lookout for the student. They also reportedly collected the CCTV footages from the Madurai Kamaraj University for investigation.
