During the rally demanding the rights to Cauvery river, DMK working president M K Stalin reportedly urged the people of Tamil Nadu to wear black on April 12 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the state. Further, he asked people to hoist black flags at their home and announced that a black flag protest will be held on the day to show opposition over the Centre's failure to constitute Cauvery Management Board as per the Supreme Court order.
