Joining the protest against the delay in formation of Cauvery Management Board, pharmacies across the state will shut shop on April 2 in a show of solidarity. However, medical shops in government hospitals would be open.

 

Earlier, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami announced that legal expertise was being sought to counter the centre's inefficiency in forming the Cauvery Management Board within the stipulated time granted by the Supreme Court. 

 

Meanwhile, opposition leader and DMK working president MK Stalin has called for an all-party meeting on April 1 to discuss further on the issue.
