Teenage Boy found strangled to Death in a Graveyard!

A 16-year old teenager was found strangled to death in a graveyard in Madurai district’s Melur area on Wednesday. The school students is a resident from a village near Melur. 

His family members started searching for him when he did not return back from school. They found him dead in Selvi Nagar Graveyard in the afternoon. 

The victim has been identified as Vineeth. His father Murugan, is a daily wage labourer.

The boy’s private part was found slightly damaged.

Although police suspect that he could have been strangled to death, his body has been sent to the government hospital and post mortem report is awaited. In a similar incident, a 27-year old man was hacked to death by an armed gang.

As per Times of India’s report, a case has been registered under 302 PC (punishment for murder). Inquiry is on to find out the motive behind the murder.
