A highly controversial video of an alleged policeman who was on duty during the protest in Thoothukudi against the Sterlite factory has surfaced online. In the video, the alleged cop in plainclothes was on the top a police bus. He was armed with an assault rifle and was photographed, taking aim to fire.
Another man, who is also claimed to be a cop can be seen joining the cop to the roof of the bus. According to a video tweeted by news agency ANI, the alleged cop takes his position and aims the target.
A voice in the background can be heard making a shocking statement: "At least one should die" after which, the first shot can be seen fired.
