Amazing rate cut for this fee in Chennai airport

The Airports Authority of India has reportedly informed that the charges for user development fee has been slashed to Rs 69 from Rs 166 for domestic and Rs 6099 for international passengers.

Reportedly, the revised charges will be implemented from May 1. The revised fee will cause the AAI a revenue loss of Rs 200 crore. Notably, on April 18, 2017, the AAI proposed to increase the user development fee to Rs 200 per domestic passenger and Rs 400 per international passenger.
