ADMK MLA's bride goes missing, wedding to have been attended by EPS and OPS, cancelled

The wedding preparations of an AIADMK MLA S Eswaran, 43, was to be cancelled, after his bride-to-be R Sandhya, 23, made a run for it on Saturday, says a report in The Times of India.

Based on the bride's mother's complaint, it is believed that she had set her hearts on a younger man, and therefore, eloped.

The wedding, scheduled for September 12, was to be attended by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and his deputy O Panneerselvam.
