VIRAL VIDEO: Jayakumar asks Who is Siddharth? ; Siddharth Replies
Home > News Shots > Tamil Nadu newsAIADMK Minister Jayakumar always steps forward to face the criticisms and defend his party, especially when it involves some celebrities. Earlier we have seen him talk about political statements made by Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Vijay. Recently he talked about the political statement made by actor Siddharth.
The Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) created a massive discussion in all the states ruled by the Government of India (GOI). The bill received appreciation from one sector while it garnered criticisms from another sector of people. Amidst the heated discussions, actor Siddharth expressed his disappointment over Edappadi Palaniswamy Government accepting the CAB.
"Deeply ashamed that Edapadi Palanisamy represents my state and our people. Supporting the #CAB shows his true colours, his lack of integrity and his desperate need to remain powerful at any cost. You will all be held accountable. Enjoy your temp power till then." (sic) tweeted Siddharth with the hashtag 'IndiaRejectsCAB'
