Man used Actor Senthil’s Bungalow and Cheated Lakhs of Money; Case Filed

Sagayaraj, a 52-year-old man was arrested by the Virugambakkam, Chennai police for allegedly cheating popular actor Senthil by renting his property in Saligramam.

Senthil owns a bungalow in baskar colony, 3rd street, Saligramam which has 10 rooms. Reportedly Senthil rented the bungalow to Sagayaraj in 2013 for few lakhs of rupees. It is said that Sagayaraj used the property to run a service apartment.

As per the News 18 report, Sagayaraj did not pay the rent for the past 6 months and had been delaying further. Therefore Senthil visited the bungalow to check the status of Sagayaraj only to know that he has been earning lakhs of money by leasing the building for different people. It is said that Sagayaraj had earned 5 to 10 lakh rupees illegally. 

A shocked Senthil registered a complaint at Virugambakkam police station. As per the reports, Inspector Nandhini from crime branch nabbed the absconded Sagayaraj, filed a case and sent him to jail. Reportedly Sagayaraj had been working as the production manager in films.
