Kanyakumari: 8 houses damaged due to high tide floods

After the high tides that lashed the coastal district of Kanyakumari, as many as 100 residents from eight villages in the district including Mandaikadu, Kurumbanai, Kottilpadu, Neerodi, Vallavilai, Eraiyumanthurai, Thoothur, and Poothurai were shifted to three relief camps. About eight houses in the district were damaged due to the high tidal waves on Sunday.
