According to a report on Polimer News, almost 2,000 police personnel have been deployed in the Chennai Super Kings players' place of stay at Crowne Plaza following the increasing protests against the game amid the ongoing Cauvery issue.
Notably, Chennai Super Kings will be playing against Kolkata Knight Riders in Chepauk Stadium on Tuesday.
