To me, he is the Cristiano Ronaldo of cricket for sure. With the work he puts in you can obviously see the results. You can compare him to anyone when it comes to fitness or even skills-wise. He plays so hard and you can learn a lot by talking to him."
Bhanuka Rajapaksa, a 30-year-old Sri Lankan cricketer, was ruled out of the Sri Lankan squad due to a fitness problem. So he abruptly announced his retirement from international cricket. Following this, many Sri Lankan cricket executives contacted him. And thus, he withdrew from retirement. He was picked by the Punjab Kings in the IPL mega auction that took place.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa played his first match for the Punjab Kings in the recent match against Bangalore. The Punjab team played towards the Himalayan target of 206 runs to win. In that match, Bhanuka Rajapaksa faced 22 balls and scored 43 runs with 2 fours and 4 sixes. Similarly, the team captain Mayank Agarwal, Shikhar Dhawan, Odean Smith, 206 runs in the action of the team scored a remarkable victory.
