IPL 2022: KKR Captain gets angry on this Tamil player! What happened?

Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer's angry video at Venkatesh Iyer has spread on the internet.

Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders clashed in the 30th league match of the IPL series yesterday. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 217 for 5 in 20 overs. Jos Butler top-scored with 103 and captain Sanju Samson with 38.

Following this, Kolkata batted towards the Himalayan target of 218 for victory. Aaron Finch and Sunil Narine banged in as starters. But Sunil Narine got ducked out on the first ball. After that the pair of captains Shreyas Iyer and Aaron Finch played casually and raised the score. Aaron Finch was then out for 58.

At the other end, Shreyas Iyer scored 85 runs. Kolkata won by 39 runs in the last 24 balls. Trent Boult then bowled the 16th over of the match. Facing this, Venkatesh Iyer from Tamil Nadu hit in the direction of the deep cover and ran to take the run. Venkatesh Iyer was then called up by Shreyas Iyer for the 2nd run.

Shreyas Iyer came up to half pitch but as the ball went into the fielder's hand, Venkatesh Iyer stopped there. Thus, the former had to run backwards and escape from the run out. Shreyas Iyer got angry and scolded Venkatesh Iyer on the field. This video is currently going viral on social media. Many have been referring to Shreyas Iyer as ‘never seen him so angry’. Kolkata lost all their wickets for 210 runs in 19.4 overs.
