Lasith Malinga roped in as Rajasthan Royals' fast-bowling coach for IPL 2022

The Rajasthan Royals have appointed a former Mumbai Indians coach as their fast bowling coach ahead of the start of the IPL series.

The IPL matches are all set to kickstart from March 26. The schedule for the matches has recently been released by the BCCI. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the second half of last year's IPL series was held in the United Arab Emirates. Before that, the 2020 IPL series was held entirely in the United Arab Emirates due to the lockdown.

And this time, all the matches will be played in India. Thus, after 2019, this will be the only IPL series to be played entirely in India.
