Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad clashed in the 50th league match of the IPL series yesterday. Batting first, Delhi scored 207 for the loss of 3 wickets. Batting next, Hyderabad scored only 186 runs in 20 overs. So Delhi won by 21 runs.
Delhi opener David Warner remained unbeaten on 92 in the final. Warner missed the chance to score a century in 20 overs for the team. Rowman Powell, who was batting at the time, scored 19 in that over.
Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson patted David Warner on the back as he left the field after the first innings. Following him, Hyderabad bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar also praised Warner.
David Warner captained the Hyderabad team in the last IPL series. But the Hyderabad team he led suffered a series of defeats. So Kane Williamson was named the new captain halfway through the series.
