When Hardik Pandya texted Pollard and asked him to join Gujarat Titans!

Hardik Pandya says he has invited a Mumbai Indians player to join the Gujarat team.

The 51st league match of the IPL series was played on 06.05.2022 at the Brabourne Ground in Mumbai, in which The Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, took on the Mumbai Indians, led by Rohit Sharma. It is interesting to noted that MI won by 5 runs.

Pandya, who was with the Mumbai Indians until last season, is currently captaining GT. Speaking on the occasion, Hardik Pandya said, ‘I have always seen myself in a blue jersey. But banging on a blue jersey for my own state is something even more special. I have fond memories of playing for Mumbai, "he said.

He continued, ‘I texted Pollard a few days ago. Then I told him, you should come to our team next year, it is my wish. But I know it will never happen, "said Hardik Pandya.
