The 15th season of the IPL series is taking place in India this year. The first match begins with the opening clash between Chennai and Kolkata Knight Riders which will be played on March 26th at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The CSK team has picked some new players in the recently concluded IPL auction. Devon Conway and Adam Milne have joined the CSK team. Fans are eagerly awaiting how they will play in the IPL series, as they have excelled in international cricket.
Meanwhile, Faf du Plessis and Shardul Thakur, who have already played for CSK, have been transferred. Shardul is in Delhi Capitals team and Royal Challengers Bangalore's bid for Du Plessis.
CSK head coach Stephen Fleming has shared about the IPL auction. He said, "We are really happy it went according to plan. We lost a couple of players which we are a bit sad about but we have gained some real talent. We've got, this year, some good blend of experience and youth. So we're really excited about the way the auction went down."
"Well, they came cheap so it was good. They are all very skilful players. Devon Conway has had a great couple of years internationally. Mitch has been a stalwart for us. And in Adam Milne, we have got a bit of pace. So all three of them have great credentials and a good skill set for us," said Fleming.
