Devon Conway reveals Dhoni's advice that helped him against DC!

CSK opener Devon Conway shares Dhoni's advice during the match against Delhi.

The Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni, and the Delhi Capitals, led by Rishabh Pant, clashed in the 55th league match of the IPL series. Delhi won the toss and elected to bowl. Batting first, CSK scored 208 for 6 in 20 overs.

Top scorers were Devon Conway (87), Ruturaj Gaikwad (41) and Shivam Dube (32). Batting next, Delhi lost all their wickets for just 117 runs in 17.4 overs. So CSK won by 91 runs. Devon Conway was also awarded the Man of the Match award.

In this situation, Devon Conway said that the advice given by CSK captain Dhoni before batting in the match was of great help. Speaking on the occasion, he said, ‘I am happy to have re-established a partnership with Ruturaj Gaikwad. He played aggressively and made my job easier. These compliments should go to Dhoni.

"I have got to give credit to MS tonight," Conway told Star Sports. "In the last game I swept quite a lot, and I unfortunately got out playing the sweep. And he said to me, 'I think the guys are going to try to bowl fuller to you tonight. So maybe come out and try to hit them straight.' So he sort of gave me the guidelines to try to execute that. That's what I tried to do."
