Will Chepauk host the opening ceremony and finals of IPL 2019?

Having won the finals of Indian Premier League - Season 11, the team CSK will be arriving at Chennai on Monday to meet the fans, franchise, and press. After a ban for two seasons in 2016 and 2017, the team CKS did not fail to satisfy the thirst of its fans in 2018.

However, after the major protest in front of Chepauk stadium by the political parties and public against the match being conducted in Chennai, all the home matches that were scheduled to happen in Chennai, were shifted to Pune. The protesters demanded the formation of Cauvery Management Board and they urged the Tamil Nadu government to act on the same.

The questions about the next edition of the league - whether the opening ceremony will happen in Chennai or not, will the finals of IPL 2019 be played in Chennai as that is the regular policy that the winning team hosts both the opening ceremony and finals, keep lingering in the minds of the fans.
