Home > News Shots > Sports newsEvery cricket match has its own charm and fun; from taking a wicket to delivering a six, fans always wait for the right moment.
At a recent match between Durham and Yorkshire in the T20 Blast at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street, a bizarre incident took place that left fans confused as to feel sad or laugh.
As per NDTV sports report, this bizarre video has been posted by T20 Blast on their official Twitter account, where Yorkshire wicket-keeper Jonathan Tattersall was caught hitting his teammate Keshav Maharaj, while attempting a run-out at the non-striker's end.
The instant throw by Tattersall, which hit the South African spinner on his thigh, left him in pain. The wicket-keeper's intention was to stop the Durham batsmen from taking a quick run but his execution was not up to the mark," NDTV sports further reported.
The official page also captioned the incident with the caption saying, "The poor bowler".
Even after being hit, Maharaj completed his four overs but failed to take any wickets.
