According to reports on the Chennai Super Kings website, former Australian cricketer and Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey spoke of the Chennai fans on Saturday ahead of the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League which is set to begin on April 7.
The support for CSK has been massive as thousands of fans showed up during the practice sessions at Chepauk to cheer the team. “The fans here in Chennai are a very knowledgeable crowd, they really understand their cricket, appreciate good cricket and appreciate good cricketers,” he reportedly said.
“To be honest it has been phenomenal, the support we have had from the fans. We have been blown away by the support and how excited everyone is,” he added.
