Video: Virat Kohli Wastes Review After Getting Out; Twitter Slams Him For Decision!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsOn the opening day of the second Test between India and New Zealand at Hagley Oval in Christchurch today, Team India skipper and captain Virat Kohli failed to make an impression once again on the field.
Despite performing bad, Kohli took the matter worst by consuming India's only review during the match after Mayank Agarwal used one earlier.
When the match took pace, New Zealand bowler Tim Southee confidently knew that the ball hit Virat's pad but King Kohli went ahead with the decision to check on the review after deciding with batsman Cheteshwar Pujara.
During the delivery, Virat Kohli had missed the ball by some distance following it went right on off stump. Minutes after the Indian captain’s decision didn’t work in his favour at the Hagley Oval, cricket fans took to Twitter to slammed him for another poor outing and "wasting" the review.
Virat Kohli, managed with just three runs before Southee removed him. The incident happened during the ongoing tour that Virat Kohli failed to reach 20.
Talking about the match, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bowl. Check few of the tweets below:

Virat Kohli's dismal run continues: he's trapped in front by Southee. And, to make matters worse, India lose their second and last review.
85-3, and a ripple of panic in the Indian camp. #NZvIND

This is the 10th time Southee dismissed Kohli in Intl cricket, most by any bowler. A good CV to have him after retirement. #NZvIND

Low score again for @imVkohli puts India in greater pain. How eell Kiwi bowlers have tested him with swing and seam. Big session for both teams now. Couple of more wickets and New Zealand will have taken vice like grip on match

Cricket is a team sport. But not for Virat Kohli. Clearly put himself ahead of the team, yet again.
2/13 (15%) successful reviews against LBW decisions in tests.
7 more wickets left, last review and wasting it on such a straightforward LBW is unforgivable. #NZvInd pic.twitter.com/gG2dteK60Q

Virat Kohli always thinking that he isn't out when it's comes to lbw decision in Test Cricket.
But the fact that he has been successful DRS only 2 times out of 13 he taken.
We suffer for DRS later. So don't use DRS just because of you are the captain.#NZvIND #TeamIndia pic.twitter.com/XS7sa25vMc

Just being selfish @imVkohli you were positive you are out why waste a review that could cost later on #IndiaVSNewZEaland
