While Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is not having the best of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, the India captain Virat Kohli has crossed one more milestone by going past Suresh Raina as the top run-scorer of the league.
Raina’s record was 4558 runs off 163 innings, he has played in the league so far. Kohli needed 31 runs to beat the record of Raina during the match against Mumbai Indians.
Kohli beat the record, though RCB failed to win the match. Notably, Suresh Raina missed his previous match due to an injury in the calf muscle.
