Australian cricketer Steve Smith, who was recently caught in the ball-tampering controversy during the third Test against South Africa arrived at Johannesburg airport on Wednesday. He was escorted by security in the airport while people booed at him and called him a cheat.
Videos of the incident have been doing rounds on social media, following which, England cricketer Kevin Pieterson voiced out in support of Smith and said "I don't like this! @steve_smith49 isn't a criminal!" Further, Shane Warne also reacted to the incident and said "This is disgraceful! @stevesmith49 is not a criminal!!!!"
