Video: Footballer Gomes suffers major leg injury - players left distraught

Everton midfielder Andre Gomes while playing Premier League with Tottenham while he suffered a major leg injury, reports Sportstar.

Son Heung-min set up Dele Alli to score while he tried to tackle Gomes. Gomes collided with Serge Aurier and fell on the ground suffering from a major leg injury.

It was his right leg, and players from both teams were distressed looking at the injury and medical staff attended Gomes.

Refree Martin Atkinson showed a red card to Son. Later, Gomes was taken in a stretcher with a standing ovation in the stadium. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
