Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun took his maiden wicket for the India Under-19 team in the first junior Test between India U-19 and Sri Lanka U-19. The left-arm pacer dismissed Kamil Mishra when his delivery touched the batsman’s pads in front of the stumps. The wicket fell on the last ball of the third over.
Arjun made it to the U-19 team after a good performance in the junior cricket. However, he will not be able to play in the upcoming U-19 World Cup as he will be over 20 by then.
In the ongoing Test match against U-19 Sri Lanka, Arjun and Harsh Tyagi are spearheading the bowling attack. Arjun has taken one wicket, while Tyagi has taken two wickets. The hosts had scored 154 runs at the end of 41 overs after losing four wickets.
