Video Viral: Umpire Caught Calling Ball Girl 'Hot' And 'Very Sexy' During Tennis Match
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIn a bizarre and embarrassing case, an umpire asked a ball girl whether she was 'hot' or 'very sexy' during a men's tennis tournament in Italy after which he has been banned.
The umpire has been identified as Gianluca Moscarella, who has been accused of inappropriate conduct towards one of the players.
The video of that moment has been viral on social media where Moscarella can be seen telling the girl she was "very sexy, then asking: "are you hot... physically or emotionally... or both?"
The embarrassing incident happened during the Challenger Tour match between Pedro Sousa and Enrico Dalla Valle.
After the video and news went viral, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in a statement said that "Moscarella was immediately dismissed from the tournament when the matter was brought to light, and a full investigation has been initiated."
"Meanwhile, Moscarella has been provisionally suspended from his services as a contracted ATP official pending the results of the investigation," ATP further added.
