Despite losing to India in their first T20i match at the Old Trafford on Tuesday, the team was still seen celebrating. India chased down England's score of 159/8 with ten balls to spare.
However, after the loss, Jos Buttler, Joe Root and Moeen Ali were seen celebrating. The players were reportedly over the moon after England's victory against Colombia in FIFA 2018. Reportedly, this is the first time England won a penalty shootout at the World Cup and made their way through to the quarter-finals.
England will now face Sweden to enter into the semi-finals, which would be against Croatia or Russia.
