Dramatic Win! Team Lose 5 Wickets for 3 Runs in 10 Balls: Watch Video
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIt was totally not a good day for Tasmania team as they lost the match by just one run to Victoria in Perth.
Tasmania, who looked confident with 172/4 to chase down the target of 186 runs against Victoria in the Marsh Cup on September 23 badly collapsed after they lost six wickets for 12 runs.
With just 14 more runs to win, new boy and Australian cricketer Jackson Coleman took three wickets in the 40th over. Soon after that, Chris Tremain easily swiped up the remaining two wickets in the 41st over.
With this dramatic and drastic over, Cricket Australia took to social media and posted a video of Tasmania's collapse on Twitter. They captioned the video by saying, "Tasmania needed five runs to win from 11 overs with five wickets in hand and then: WW.11W.W1W"
Adding more feathers to their cap, Chris Tremain and Jackson Coleman took four wickets each during the match. Sadly, none of the Tasmania batsmen crossed 30.
Team Tasmania will soon clash with Western Australia on September 25 while Victoria will clash with Queensland on September 29.
