Raina became the first Indian to register 8,000 runs in T20 matches. The cricketer achieved this feat while playing against Puducherry at Delhi on Monday. Raina scored 12 runs in the match with which he reached the milestone. Raina now has scored 8,001 from 300 T20s.
Raina is followed by Virat Kohli (7833) and Rohit Sharma (7795) in India's highest run-getters list in T20 cricket. In the international forum, West Indies player Chris Gayle (12,298) has the most runs in T20. He is followed by Brendon McCullum (9,922) and Kieron Pollard (8,838).
