Bizarre Video: Naked Fan Runs Across Field, Interrupts England vs New Zealand Match| WATCH

Many a times matches have been disrupted or stopped either for rain, crowd trouble or pitch invasions but a naked man or streakers running on the field is not the most common sight in a cricket stadium.

Well, this time it happened in the World Cup, during a match between England and New Zealand, a streaker invaded the field. This bizarre incident took place during the 34th over of New Zealand's innings.

According to India Times report, taking advantage of the break, the naked man left fans shocked and impressed by the effort of the security officials at the ground, who failed to notice the movements of the nude man.

The players were left shocked as the nude man with a green wig raced across the ground chased by the stewards. The streaker also did a cartwheel on the ground amidst huge laughter in the stands even as the security officials found it difficult to nab him, reports India Times.

In the video that has gone viral, the man kept everyone entertained with his acrobatic skills. The crowd cheered him on, though the drama was short as security took him away.

England went on to win by 119 runs and seal their place in the semifinal.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred in CWC 2019. Earlier, during the Pakistan vs Afghanistan game at Headingley, a section of fans had broken into the ground to shake hands with the players.

A group of Pakistan and Afghanistan fans also clashed in the stands during the game leading to a huge uproar on social media. This was, however, a different scenario as one man single-handedly disrupted such an important encounter.
