Young Shubman Gill Breaks Virat Kohli's 10-year-old Massive Record; Creates History!

Reportedly, Gill was 20 years and 57 days old when he led India C in the final of the domestic tournament. Virat Kohli was 21 years old when he captained North Zone during the final back in 2009-10 season.

Following Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli, third on the list is Unmukt Chand who led India B in the final of Deodhar Trophy in 2015 when he was 22 years old. Shreyas Iyer, Manoj Tiwary and Kapil Dev occupy the fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.

However, Gill did not contribute much through bat to add feathers to the special occasion as he edged one straight to Yashasvi Jaiswal off Mohammed Siraj's bowling in the second over.

At the end, India B (283 for 7) defeated India C (232 for 9) by 51 runs. Kedhar Jadhav (86) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (54) held India B together, while Priyam Garg (74) and Shahbaz Nadeem (4 for 32) tried hard for India C.
