After Australia's poor performance in the ongoing test series with England, spinner Shane Warne and former skipper Michael Clarke took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the turn of events. England thrashed Australia 3-0 in the five-match series.
Warne tweeted, "Just woke up and saw the score in England. What the hell happened over there & what is going on boys ? Gulp.....(sic)" Clarke was apparently too shocked for words to come and tweeted using emojis.
Australia has been facing the heat after getting caught in a ball-tampering scandal during the third day of a test series with South Africa. Bowler Cameron Bancroft was seen rubbing the ball with a sandpaper and was duly banned from playing. Both the captain, Steve Smith and vice-captain Devid Warner too were banned from playing for a year.
