Special Honour for Sourav Ganguly aka ‘Dada’ in Australia

His contribution to Indian Team had been enormous both as a captain and as a player.
Saurav Ganguly has 11,000 ODI runs to his credit. The left-handed cricketing legend has a phenomenal captaincy record who is the most successful Indian Test captains till date winning 21 out of 49 test matches. Not just in India but Ganguly has also proved his flair in captaincy overseas winning over 11 test matches.
Back in the late 2000s, the sporting spirit between former Australian Captain Ricky Ponting and former Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly was widely enjoyed by the fans around the World. Recently, an anonymous bar in Australia has honoured ‘Dada’ by having a beer named after him. The beer is called as the 'Feral "Ganguly" Mango Lasi' which has been ranked under the 'Smooth Hoperators' section of the beer menu.
A twitter had shared the photo of the menu card and wrote “I always thought they didn’t like @SGanguly99 much here in Australia. But they instead have paid him the highest Aussie honour possible by naming a beer after him & even marking it as a smooth “hopetator” Must have been all those hugs to Ponting @cricbuzz #Ipl2019 @DelhiCapitals1” (sic)
