‘Shame on you’- Sakshi Dhoni Slams Media For Reporting False News About MS Dhoni

Hours after news of MS Dhoni donating Rs. 1 Lakh via a crowdfunding website Ketto to a public charitable trust in Pune, to combat coronavirus pandemic went viral, Sakshi was in no mood to take things easy and light. Before Sakshi's tweet could go viral, fans in large numbers slammed the cricketer for donating only 1 lakh at a time when the country needs support.
Saksh then hit out at media houses at misinformation being spread by them about her husband. “I request all media houses to stop carrying out false news at sensitive times like these ! Shame on You ! I wonder where responsible journalism has disappeared!" she wrote in her tweet.
Meanwhile, several other cricketers donated a huge sum of money to help fight coronavirus. As per a Hindustan Times report, Sachin Tendulkar donated a sum of Rs 50 lakh, while Sourav Ganguly pledged to donate rice worth Rs 50 lakhs.
