Mahendra Singh Dhoni has become the talk of the town after the 48th over in the first semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2019 against New Zealand yesterday. A strong vibe started speculating that it was the last innings MSD had played and probably he would retire soon.

However, as we reported earlier, Dhoni has not discussed his retirement plans even to the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. In fact, a few days before, when Dhoni’s retirement speculations went high before India played against Srilanka, MSD himself said, “I don’t know when i will retire from cricket, some people want me to retire before next match against Sri Lanka,” as per the report by ABP News.

As per a report by Hindustan times, the former Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar picked on MSD saying he played ‘with a lack of intent’ in the match against England which India lost by 31 runs. Now, India’s official elimination from the current ICC edition of World cup has again instigated the rumours on MSD’s retirement.

In an interview to India today, Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly backed MSD from the ongoing retirement speculations. “It is his personal decision and everyone should give him space. Everyone should respect his contribution to Indian cricket instead of spreading speculations. With so much of contribution, he should be the only person to make that decision,” said Sachin according to the report.

The report further added Sachin saying,"How many guys can have a career like this? He has had a special career. The support and belief that people have in him is a reflection of his contribution. People still believed that he could go and finish the game. The game was not over till the time he was out there."

At last, MSD fans and supporters have got a strong voice from the Master Blaster himself.
