England won the toss and elected to field in the T20I match between India and England today. The Indian team for this series also included some of the players who shone in the IPL series. Thus, there was an expectation among the fans as to which players would play in today’s match.

India captain Virat Kohli has ruled out Rohit Sharma for the first two matches of the series. People have been commenting on Twitter regarding Rohit's absence from the team.

Also, in an interview with the press yesterday, Captain Kohli said that KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma will be the opening batsmen and if any of them are rested, Shikhar Dhawan would be the replacement.

Similarly, fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has been sidelined with an injury for the past several months, has returned to the Indian team.
