RCBvCSK registers most sixes in an IPL match

The Indian Premier League match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Chennai Super Kings registered the record of most sixes in an IPL match. The thriller witnessed 33 sixes altogether with 16 sixes from RCB and 17 from CSK. The 33 sixes include 8 each from AB de Villiers and Ambati Rayudu and 7 from CSK skipper MS Dhoni. The most sixes in a T20 match, 34 sixes, was registered in a match between Central District and Otago in New Zealand’s Super Smash tournament in 2016.
