'Unbelievable Catch'! Prithvi Shaw Takes One-Handed Stunner To Dismiss Tim Paine | WATCH VIDEO
Home > News Shots > Sports newsDuring the first innings of the ongoing tour game between Australia A vs Team India in Sydney, Prithvi Shaw, who failed to make a contribution with the bat took a one-handed stunner which is currently making headlines.
On Day 2 of the ongoing practice match between the two sides, Shaw helped Umesh Yadav dismiss a well set Tim Paine.
The catch happened when Australia Test team captain was batting on 44 when Umesh Yadav bowled a short delivery to him. The 35-year-old executed an almost perfect pull shot and a boundary was on the cards but Shaw leaped in the air and caught the ball with his right hand at square leg.
Not just team players even the on-air commentators were in awe of the catch which they termed as "unbelievable". The catch even left Prithvi Shaw visibly in disbelief before his teammates including Wriddhiman Saha and Kartik Tyagi came running to appreciate him for his effort.
Shaw's catch was important for the team as Tim Paine and Cameron Green had bailed their team out of a precarious situation at 98 for five by putting on 104 runs for the sixth wicket.
India will play the four-match Test series against Australia with the first Test set to begin from December 17.
