Ben Stokes or Bhen ****, Popular Cricketer wants to quit Twitter because of Virat
Home > News Shots > Sports newsAs we grow, slangs become a part of us and we tend to use it according to the situation we are put in. For some reason, it is versatile that it fits in any concept.
Cricketers are no strangers to it and we have seen Dhoni to Rohit cussing on the field. Virat Kohli, being a typical Delhiite, could not refrain from saying a certain slangs when he is angry or happy.
However, one particular slang rhymes with the name of a popular English cricketer Ben Stokes. Many fans on Twitter have made a joke that Virat Kohli says "Ben Stokes" when he gets excited during a match. Several tweets on the same theme have doing the round on social media for a while now.
😂“I feel so proud when india takes a wicket because each time they take a wicket, Virat Kohli takes my name. You can find that out by reading his lips” - Ben Stokes pic.twitter.com/0a9uoe2yKc

Stokes had had it all when Kohli was busy playing against Pakistan on Sunday. He took it to Twitter to "threaten" to delete his Twitter account to escape it. However, he mentioned that he actually found it funny the first 1 lakh times.
I may delete Twitter just so I don’t have to see another tweet reading “He’s saying Ben Stokes”(when he’s clearly not😆)in reply to a video of Virat saying you know what 🤦♂️🤦♂️it was funny the first 100,000 times.

Going by the tweet, it is positive that Ben knows what Kohli has been saying to show his enthusiasm. However, tweeple didn't leave a chance. They replied with Virat's video convincing that he was indeed saying his name.
One can only expect what fun one can expect when India faces England on June 30. It is positive Twitter is going to have a field day.
